Every year, sometimes twice a year to go a whole crowd of dedicated fans rather than an event in their city convention center. The passer-by can from this a bit unusual - seeing people with blue hair or swinging large foam props. The forty men until they play football in full animal suits (see the mascot is thinking).
I had the pleasure of attending a few of these conventions - and it was definitely a way to those who never talk to before. Theglazed over look of "what is happening on the ground in front of him?" is readily apparent on their faces when a group of young people to do "cosplay" past them.

For the course of time, start cosplaying conventions, more and more like a Halloween masquerade glancethan anything else - displays a wide range of inspiring diversity.
