Safety first on Halloween night

How many times have you've seen on your local news, stories about children from a car on Halloween night to beat because they rushed into the street without thinking or running between parked cars? It breaks my heart when I hear something. For a child Halloween one which is exciting and fun night, sometimes they forget the security of all the rules you ever taught them. They are so excited to get to the next house that they cross the street to shoot without looking even to think aboutin both directions. I have many times in my neighborhood (luckily no cars were), especially when children, as a mutual and falls back. They shoot at the other side of the road just trying to catch up with their friends.

On a normal day, most parents know what to take precautions in order to know when it comes to the safety of her child, but you, the extra length, we should be on the Halloween night? It is our responsibility to ensure that children are safe. Even the smallestPrecautions can mean a lot.

If you drive, you must be aware of the children. Drive slowly! Be sure to phase out on children between the cars or in the middle of the road. It is important to emphasize that if you have a teenage driver. When you save your entry to be careful to make sure is clear. Do not pass it stopped cars, they unload children.
Let your child wear clothing with reflective markings or tape. There are also glow sticks, pumpkin and flashlightsother similar items that you can buy to carry your child around the neck or pinned to their costumes, so they are visible to motorists after dark.
Accompany your child in the neighborhood. If you are not sure that monitor an adult with them. As a parent you know if your child is "old" enough to be in the neighborhood with their friends without you, but it helps that they have to bear, a clock, so they know when the trick or-treat hours ago and arewhen they go home. If you know exactly where they are and what path they take.
When picking a costume, look for a flame-retardant material made. Avoid loose fitting clothing or waving material that accidentally come into contact with a flame would. Be sure to adjust it to comfortable shoes.
Check your costume for children, and make sure that it is not dragging the ground, where they could trip and hurt yourself. Face Paint is always a goodSubstitute for a mask, but if they have to bear to one in order to ensure that the nose and mouth openings and large eye holes are not enough to block their view direction.
Make sure they know only to houses that are well lit, and those that they know someone is going home. They should never be a stranger at home.
Let's bring their candy home before eating anything. Go through them and with them all, throw what you are not completely safe. Did they have dinner before they go outtrick-or-treating. In this way, they are not as hungry and will not fill too much candy.

On Halloween night there is a tradition in my family to have to order pizza and deliver. It's like trying a hectic night, all set up in their costume, that it is easier than fixing a big dinner to get - plus the kids love it. But remember, at an early because apparently is not only a tradition in our household. Pizza has become the new "Halloween Night Dinner" and one of thefive nights of the year for home deliveries with - the day before Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, New Years and Super Bowl Sunday.

All parents want their children to be safe. Just use common sense on Halloween night. It is really important, especially for younger children that you go with them, so you can be their eyes and ears. To them, security is not their top priority - as it has to you!
